The football skills course
Adults & children all over the world love football. Some young people are lucky enough to be part of a team, but some may not have that chance at the moment. Here at Soccer Cadets we believe that all young people can have the opportunity to play with their friends and make new friends at the same time. Young people develop at different stages and Soccer Cadets main aim is to be inclusive, whatever your ability an opportunity to play the world game should not be denied to you. …And that’s what ‘Soccer Cadets’ is all about. Soccer Cadets offers young people aged 6-11 the chance to play and improve their football skills. All abilities catered for..... So…what is Soccer cadets? It’s a football skills course ran by the Qualified Soccer Cadets staff at Wigton Moor Recreation Ground and Spen Valley Sports College. We at Soccer Cadets believe football in the community is vital and this is a great forum to allow young people to stay healthy. The course has different skills levels, exercises, games and rewards. Getting a place on the course ‘Soccer cadets’ football coaching courses are here for the community and getting a place could not be easier. You can turn up on the day; or to avoid disappointment book early and download an application/Parent Consent form. We can only accept payment by cash or cheque. What you take away with you... The emphases will be on sportsmanship, inclusion, friendship, enjoyment and fun. Certificates will be awarded to winners of individual competition. Positive behaviour will be rewarded with even bigger prizes. However, the biggest reward will be that young people will be able to get together in a safe environment and be able to have fun with their friends and the new friends they meet. When does the course take place? Young people get plenty of school holidays, why use up all your annual leave/holidays or worry about who’s going to look after them whilst you’re at work.
